Positions:

1. EXECUTIVE - ADMINISTRATION & FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

Responsibilities:

Responsible to assist in providing efficient office administrative support services and management of facilities, which includes the following activities:

1. Assist in managing the Energy Commission Diamond Building, including management of the service providers, contractors, building maintenance, cleaning & security services;
2. Review all preventive maintenance work processes and schedules;
3. Liaise and engage with authorithy such as Perbadanan Putrajaya, Jabatan BOMBA dan Penyelamat, DOSH etc; 
4. Maintain administrative and facilities management systems, policies and procedures.
5. Ensure all facilities/maintenance systems meet the statutory regulations, environmental and safety standard.; 
6. Monitor and review building services plan, including aesthetical, security, housekeeping, air-conditioning maintenance, solar panel maintenance, car park maintenance, upgrading works, landscaping;
7. Maintain occupational safety and health (OSH) procedures and conduct regular OSH audits in the building; 

 

Requirements:

1. Possess a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering/ Building Management or other related fields of study from university accredited by the Government;
2. Minimum two (2) years’ working experience in building and maintenance management;
3. Possess a positive outlook, disciplined and results-oriented; 
4. High level of service orientation and quality driven;
5. Ability to work under pressure in managing responsibilities;
6. Excellent command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English; and
7. Candidate with experience in managing energy efficient/ green buildings will be an added advantage.
8. Experience in occupational, safety and health (OSH) matters will be an added advantage

A statutory body established under the Energy Commission Act 2001, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) or the Energy Commission is responsible for regulating the energy sector, specifically the electricity and piped gas supply industries, in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah.

Taking over the role of the Department of Electricity and Gas Supply, the Energy Commission started its operation on January 1, 2002. The main focus of the commission are reliable electricity and gas supply, reasonable costs and safety.

The roles of the Energy Comission is divided into three, namely Economic Regulation, Technical Regulation and Safety Regulation.
